For your visit to qualify toward prizes, the card must be initialed and dated by a staff member at the brewery. If the brewery is part of a brewpub, have your passport stamped by your bartender or server.
One of the featured spots on the Maine Beer Trail is Rock Harbor Pub, Rockland’s only brewpub. Rock Harbor has between five and ten of its own brews on tap at all times, serves delicious food, and hosts trivia nights and other fun events. The brewery is a key part of the Rockland’s thriving restaurant scene, showcasing good times and fresh, local fare.
Getting started on the Maine Beer Trail is as easy as visiting a brewery with a copy of this year's Maine Beer Trail passport. You can download the PDF version or pick up a hard copy at your any brewery featured on the trail.
You won’t be left out if you've done the beer trail in the past and been rewarded. You can take out a new passport and do it again – and it’s well worth it, because there are new breweries on the tour, most breweries are constantly creating new beers, and also because…well…beer!
Whether you live in Maine or you're a frequent vacationer, you can't beat this fun and delicious way to explore a burgeoning aspect of the state's culture.
